Memorial Ride (Plan B)

So the ride from Colorado to Minnesota didn't work out. Time for plan b. "Head South" is plan b.  That's just kinda it. Head south until it is warm, take a look around and see what there is to see. I've got a book of scenic highways and byways that will serve as my divining rod. I plan to either stay in youth hostels or under the stars nearly every night and spend an enourmous amount of time pondering the world; even more time spent just experiencing.  Experiencing what, you say?& Don't know. I will find out when it happens, or realize it when I stop to take stock.

Rule one is "safe." Rule two is to ride as if dad was right behind me. I would like to tell you more, but that is really the plan. More to come on this though, I am sure that as I move along the picture will start to flesh itself out.
