December 5 & 6, 2004; Hot Springs, Arkansas
Thunderstorms and possible tornadoes are predicted for Sunday and Monday so I found the cheapest motel in town. I love off-season rates.
My days are filled with TV, food shopping, and caring for my leather. I assembeled a gigantic ham and avacado sub for $3.76. Each half was a meal. If I get real ambitious I will do my laundry, but not probable. The National Parks Community College was nice enough to give me a seat in the computer lab for hours while I update the site.
The weather looks to be clearing up on Tuesday. I will be touring the Hot Springs area in the morning with Roger, one of the owners or managers of the Hotel I am in. He has been riding for the better part of 30 years and teaches a motorcycle safety course. I am sure he can show me a thing or to- heck, he already has. After that it is off to Texas and clear weather for the better part of a week.
